Boldy Reimagined

This kitchen went from a truly bizarre layout to a wide-open, bright, and playful family space perfect for sunny hangouts and shared cooking experiences. The original layout included a dated breakfast bar on the island that made the kitchen feel boxed in and awkward appliance placement causing more harm than good during dinner prep. Swede design partner RNJ Interiors worked with the homeowners to reconfigure the generous footprint to increase functionality by creating a new layout allowing the island to double in size, storage to increase, and solving all their functionality issues. Special care and attention were given to creating a dedicated coffee bar to house the homeowner's professional coffee setup. We've officially got morning coffee envy!

RNJ's design expertise expanded beyond the kitchen to work their magic on both the family bathrooms (one light and bright, one dark and dramatic) and created the laundry/mudroom of our dreams!
