A Thoughtful Revelstoke Renovation by Hopkins Interior Design

Post contributed by Swede Trade Partner, Hopkins Interior Design

For this project, we were lucky enough to work with fantastic clients who gave us the freedom to create a more functional home while adding character and warmth. Our team worked on every detail from as builts, concept and design development, pricing drawings (floor plans, millwork drawings, interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, electrical markups), furniture and fixture schedules, installation and staging.

Our design process begins with a thorough exploration of our clients' lifestyle and needs within their home. We engage in a deep discovery phase to understand how they utilize each space, identifying key priorities and functional requirements. We continually come back to these notes as we curate their designs; this ensures that our end product is not only beautiful but it feels natural for the client to live in their new space.

"Working with Swede is always a great experience. Their team provided thoughtful insights, understood our goals for the project and helped execute it smoothly. We always felt we could call with questions and appreciated their availability and responsiveness."

Our main design drivers were clever storage solutions, functionality, charm and warmth. The goal was to seamlessly incorporate intuitive storage options into each space, ensuring they enhance rather than detract from the overall design aesthetic. Cleverly designed cabinets that moved with the client into each room created an atmosphere of connection and intimacy while offering moments of solitude.
