How It Works - The 4-Step Process:

Your Swede Phase 1 Design Experience unfolds in four clear steps:

1. Discovery Session: Dive Deep into Your Vision. We begin with a 1:1 video call where you'll connect with your Lead Designer. Together, you'll explore your aesthetic, lifestyle, functional needs, and budget goals. Share your inspiration images and Pinterest boards – let's uncover your dream!

2. Presentation: See Your Ideas Come to Life in 3D. Within days, you'll rejoin your designer for an exciting 1:1 video presentation. Prepare to be wowed as you explore a comprehensive 3D model of your space, complete with curated material and fixture selections. Your designer will walk you through every detail, allowing you to provide real-time feedback.

3. Iteration: Refine Your Design to Perfection. After your presentation, you'll have time to review and digest your design concept. Then, provide your designer with clear, bulleted feedback for any desired adjustments. We'll iterate and refine your design so that it aligns perfectly with your vision.

4. Budget Review: Gain Clarity and Confidence. With your refined design concept in hand, our estimation team will create a detailed budget estimate, outlining every element from the Swede catalogue. You'll then have a final 1:1 video call with your designer to review the budget together, ensuring complete transparency and informed decision-making.

At the end of Phase 1, you will receive:

• A Comprehensive 3D Design Concept: Stunning, high-definition renderings that bring your vision to life, showcasing your kitchen and up to three additional rooms.

• Detailed Kitchen Layout & Spatial Plans: Expertly designed layouts optimized for functionality and flow.

• Curated Material Selections from the Swede Catalogue: Including door styles, countertops, hardware, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, and lighting suggestions – all within the Swede ecosystem. [lighting plan and placements not included.]

• Virtual Tour of Your 3D Concept: Walk through your future space from the comfort of your home.

• Itemized Budget Estimate: A clear and transparent breakdown of costs for all Swede materials featured in your design.

• Access to Basecamp: Your dedicated project hub for communication, file sharing, and seamless collaboration with your Swede team.

What We Need From You:

To kickstart your Swede Phase 1 Design Experience, please provide:

• Measurements of Your Space: We'll guide you on how to accurately measure (and will always verify before final cabinetry order!).

• Appliance Dimensions (if available): Help us design around your chosen appliances.

• Inspirational Images: Share your style preferences – Pinterest boards or saved images are perfect!

• Completed Design Questionnaire (provided upon purchase).

Creative Design Ownership: This Phase 1 Design Experience grants you a limited creative license to the design work produced by your Swede Design Partner. This allows you to fully explore and utilize the design concepts within the Swede ecosystem. Should you wish to own the outright rights to your design package for use outside of Swede, you have the option to purchase your design license at the completion of Phase 1. However, this fee is entirely waived when you move forward with purchasing your Swede cabinetry – making your design investment a direct credit towards your dream kitchen and home.

Design Scope: This Phase 1 Design Experience covers your kitchen design plus up to three additional rooms (pantry, bathrooms, entertainment rooms, etc.). Need more rooms designed? Additional rooms are available for $349 each.

Site Visit for Final Verification: Upon paying your second milestone payment with Swede and moving into Phase 2 (Design Refinement), we will coordinate a site visit by one of our technicians to meticulously verify all dimensions, ensuring accuracy before finalizing your cabinetry order. By making this purchase, you are agreeing to own a creative license for the work that your Swede Design Partner will produce as a result of your Swede design experience. This purchase will not include the outright ownership of your design concepts until you buy out your license at the completion of this service, should you choose to. The full cost to purchase your design package at the end of your experience is $2500. This fee is not applicable, though, should you move forward with purchasing your Swede cabinets. Should you choose to buy out your design license at the end of this experience, you may apply this $2500 toward the purchase of your Swede cabinetry. Please consult with your Swede Advisor if you have any questions about how your design license works.
